IPv6 and Transition Techniques

During an exchange semester at the Technical University of Denmark I have prepared a presentation and a report discussing "Internet Protocol version 6 and Transition Techniques" for a seminar course named Advanced Protocols. My paper covers some general issues about IPv6 and is intended as an overview and an introduction to the subject for a person already familiar with IPv4 networking. From the Abstract:

This report introduces the next version of the Internet Protocol (IPv6) and gives an overview of its features. A description of the addressing scheme, packet structure, and transition mechanisms for the protocol, along with other issues, is also given. Finally, a short discussion on the protocol features and associated problems, including a summary of the topic, is presented.
